National Library of Poland Descriptors: key guidelines and practice
The aim of the Workshop is to familiarize librarians from other institutions with the basic guidelines concerning the subject access entries of various types of publications using the National Library of Poland Descriptors (DBN). The recipients will have the opportunity to acquaint themselves with all types of Descriptors, with numerous examples of bibliographic descriptions, and also compare the DBN system with the previously used at the National Library of Poland information retrieval language, i.e. the National Library of Poland Subject Headings Language (JHP).
