Creation of a bibliographic record in MARC 21 format in Alma, practical part
The aim of the workshop is to familiarize participants with the creation process of bibliographic records in the integral cataloguing environment of the National Library of Poland, in accordance with the MARC 21 standard in the Alma system. As part of the workshop, participants will learn how to catalogue selected publications using the National Library of Poland Descriptors (DBN) in accordance with the methodology used in the National Library of Poland.

Pavlo Bardovskyi
Pavlo Bardovskyi – Deputy Head of the Librarian Education Department. He has previously worked at the Department of Subject Cataloguing, where he was responsible for cataloguing historical publications as well as the books in the Ukrainian language. He has graduated in history from Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński's University, completed his bachelor's degree at the Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University (Ukraine).
