Bibliographic description areas. Cataloging, the theoretical part - Szkolenia on-line Biblioteki Narodowej

The aim of the workshop is to discuss the most important rules of book cataloging. The training will present individual bibliographic areas and give an example of a bibliographic description in the MARC 21 format. Special attention will be given to the arrangement schemes of description area elements and significant punctuation in cataloging regulations.

Michał Bebrysz – coordinator of cataloging publications in the field of psychology at the Discipline Cataloguing Department of the National Library. He graduated in psychology from the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw.
